Are you an Andrew Wyeth fan? Then you may want to begin in Chateau Country to see the landscapes made famous by him.

There are beaches where you may watch the sun rise. Wildlife lovers may want to check out the Bombay Hool Wildlife Refuge.

Dover, the state capital, offers a touch of city life, visit the Delaware Archaeology Museum or the Air Mobility Command Museum, the only museum in the United States dedicated to airlift and air refueling history.  With licensed gambling permitted in the state, many attractions in Dover relate to casinos and racing with games that cost as little as a penny to play.  The city provides easy access to beautiful coastal beaches and scenery.  Culture lovers may enjoy the best in opera, dance, drama or visit a range of galleries featuring Delaware artists.

Old New Castle is an interesting town to visit with its original cobblestone streets, colonial homes and guided tours.

In Wilmington visit the Delaware Museum of Natural History or the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard where you will find a recreation of the ship that brought the first settlers to the Delaware Valley in 1638. The shipyard is next to the original landing site.

This only skims the surface of things to see and do while visiting Delaware.
